Mark Twain International Primary School

Mark Twain Primary School offers its students an international education that builds on their cultural identity. Being a Romanian school where 75% of our students are Romanian and most of the remaining 25% have one Romanian parent, the primary school has two languages of instruction, English and Romanian, which are given equal weight in the daily schedule.

Mark Twain International Primary School offers children between the ages of 7 and 11 a spacious campus where students feel safe and protected, respected by everybody, and free to learn and express their views. It is a stimulating environment with welcoming rooms where they are encouraged to become independent and responsible learners. Varied resources that are carefully adapted to the children's age and interests fuel the requirements of a stimulating yet rigorous program.

Both the analytical thinking and the creativity of our students are continuously challenged, while social interactions with teachers and peers help promote mutual respect and personal responsibility. Mark Twain International Primary School students are open and independent, and their school is a special place where friendship with their peers and teachers is cultivated. Touching their students' mind and spirit, teachers who are mentors and role models foster the complete development of their students, not only academically but also socially, emotionally, physically and as cultural beings.
